The first package is up-to-date (last release in 2014) and has no bugs
reported. It looks like a low-maintenance target.
The second one seems Gentoo-specif
All future versions masked, unmaintained, multiple security bugs, the
most important bug is a possible serious license violation[1] that puts
users into legal trouble.
nobody in java team maintains it, so if you want to keep it - please
take care of it.
