[gentoo-dev] FYI: Unexpected outage May 11 04:40 - 20:00 UTC

2021-05-12 Thread Alec Warner
The following nodes were offline:

bittern.gentoo.org (blogs, Bouncer, devmanual)
bobolink.gentoo.org (ns1; dns)
devbox.amd64.dev.gentoo.org
elivepatch.amd64.dev.gentoo.org
motmot.gentoo.org (qa-reports, keys.g.o)
roverlay.dev.gentoo.org
woodpecker.gentoo.org (dev.g.o, smtp.g.o)

These are all VMs; the host running them failed and it took a while to
bring the failed host back up[0]. I believe all services are restored,
sorry for the inconvenience. Mainly I'd expect a delay in email; as
email is a store-and-forward system and our mailserver was down for
half a day.

[0] Infra members were busy in that AM with work meetings and the
remote login documentation was a bit out of date; we are working to
update that playbook.

And so, the following packages have been put in maintainer-needed status:

dev-dotnet/dbus-sharp
dev-dotnet/dbus-sharp-glib
dev-dotnet/gkeyfile-sharp (m)
dev-dotnet/gtk-sharp (m)
dev-dotnet/libgdiplus (v)
dev-dotnet/monocalendar
dev-dotnet/ndesk-dbus
dev-dotnet/ndesk-dbus-glib
dev-dotnet/notify-sharp (m)
dev-lang/mono (b,v)
dev-util/treecc (b)
www-servers/xsp

b = bugs open,
m = masked for removal,
v = version bump available.

Overall these packages seem to be in a pretty good shape, and most bugs
are open for dev-lang/mono itself.

[gentoo-dev] Packages up for grabs: games-action/minetest and dependencies

2021-05-12 Thread William Breathitt Gray
I haven't spend as much time following Minetest development as I have in
the past, so I've removed myself as proxy maintainer in the hopes
someone more familiar with the project and code will take over.

The following packages are up for grabs:

games-action/minetest
acct-group/minetest
acct-user/minetest
dev-cpp/benchmark
dev-cpp/prometheus-cpp
