I'd say always try to make things more logical. Besides, there are only a few packages using the bzlib flag. I did however find quite a few that did an unconditional --with-bzlib as well as one (dev-util/gambas) that uses bzlib2, which I can't find anywhere. anyone have probs with moving bzip2 to global ? we currently utilize it in gnupg, xqf, mkvtoolnix, tar, and we could use it in portage in the future -mike -- gentoo-dev@gentoo.org mailing list
