That's because gentoo-sources isn't a part of the "system" set.

I just noticed that "emerge -uDN world" (or "emerge -uDN system") does 
not pick up the update.  I have "sys-kernel/gentoo-sources" in 
/etc/portage/package.keywords/misc.  Is this normal?
