No no no. Do this properly. Clean up *all* the broken blackbox applets, not just the one that has someone whining on a bug report. Did you read herds.xml yet? Allow me to explain the root of the problem. You're so obsessed with getting that one bug closed that you're not addressing the actual issue, which is that the original bb* demo code was hideously wrong in several places and thus there are a whole load of broken packages in the tree. Closing this one bug off will not, in the grand scheme of things, fix anything. All it will do is give you a false sense of achievement and make me or someone else file yet another bb* is broken bug. If you're really looking to help here, solve the problem properly. There is more to it than getting one bug closed. -- Ciaran McCreesh : Gentoo Developer (Wearer of the shiny hat) Mail: ciaranm at gentoo.org Web : http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Yeah, see, if it were as simple as just nuking the one app I'd've done it a long time ago. Just killing one package is ignoring the real problem here. -- Ciaran McCreesh : Gentoo Developer (Wearer of the shiny hat) Mail: ciaranm at gentoo.org Web : http://dev.gentoo.org/~ciaranm signature.asc Description: PGP signature
