I see those threads too. Maybe my first one got dropped, resulting in no replies, but it's in my sent mail folder, so I surely tried. In any event, I get the impression that opera is a problem in this regard, but don't understand why, if that is so, OO is not giving me the same thing, because

I've noticed that every time I run revdep-rebuild, it rebuilds opera. Moreover, my emerge sync says it's skipping packages and that I should run 'fixpackages', but when I do it doesn't fix anything. What other information should I be looking at to figure out what is going on? I don't know what
