I travel with a strong external antenna for picking up faint wireless signals. It works great, but my girlfriend struggles to connect with her built-in antenna. I do have a travel router (D-Link DWL-G730) so I'd like to be able to do something like this: WAN-my laptop-travel router-girlfriend's

Hi thereJust because you guys/gals are smart. I have a Linux laptop, and an iMac. This linux laptop uses a wifi connection to a router for network/internet access. While its connected to the network, can I plug in my iMac to my laptop and fool it into thinking it is connected to the router?
