Hi, I just want to tell everybody that spurious segment faults with ooffice / xsane / xcdroast and probably many more packages are caused by media-libs/fontconfig .
Once I upgraded from 2.3.2-r2 to 2.4.2 the problem was solved (it was just a bit hard to find out) I guess that any of the following packages does not play well with fontconfig-2.3.2-r2 (the corresponding ebuilds don't check this) x11-libs/gtk+-2.10.11 dev-libs/glib-2.12.11 x11-libs/pango-1.14.10 -- Helmut Jarausch Lehrstuhl fuer Numerische Mathematik RWTH - Aachen University D 52056 Aachen, Germany -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
