[gentoo-user] recover from disk crash lvm2 group

Hello, One of the disks in a 3-disk lvm2 group crashed. I would like to continue with the remaining 2 disks. How to remove the non-functioning disk from the group and re-create the volume with 2 disks? I have backups. # vgremove home_vol Couldn't find device with uuid
