yeah I did that as well. grub is not the problem as far as I can tell. I get the boot menu just fine. my system stops when it tries to (re)mount the root partition. It seems to think I didn't specify it. I thought that's what fstab was for ??? any other suggestions? TIA, Tomoki On 6/2/05,
