I've been experimenting slow texstudio startup for long time, now I manage to figure out why this would have happend.
using strace texstudio I was supprised that texstudio is scanning my while disks ! I see a lot of statefs and openat and texstudio iterates the whole root filesystem! no wonder texstudio took more than one minute to complete startup ! does anyone have the same problem ?
