You can also create a Grub2 bootable usb which launches ISO. this is always useful to have. for a while now Gentoo has supported being launched this way. you need the following in your grub2 cfg the crucial part is the /iso/install-amd64-minimal-20110714.iso (yeah i know is an old iso but this
