[gentoo-user] media-sound/sweep and ALSA

I've got media-sound/sweep-0.9.3 with useflags alsa mp3 vorbis -ladspa -libsamplerate. I only want to edit files, not record. But I can't get sweep to see an ALSA output device. It's got a box to enter the sound device. I've tried various things I found by googling, including
