For me, X + fb worked with a little help of

mkxf86config.sh 

;-)

emerge mkxf86config and run it and have a look, maybe it helps

not shure but maybe you can use the OBEX-Push Service of the Bluez Bluetooth 
Package...
if your phone can handle BT.
