i am trying to run binary executable of skype which i used on Arch
Linux. i placed the executables in /home/arnuld/.binaries/skype
directory. now when i try to run it i get this message:

i have successfully installed Gentoo 2006.1. i have installed Emacs.
everything is fine but Emacs's size is TOO BIG. Emacs tool bar is of
XXL size, its menu is of XXL size.

BTW,
i ave installed X using emerge X and after hours of
download-compile-install cycle startx tells me that drivers named
mouse kbd are not found. here is what i have done
1.) used genkernel all to compile my kernel.
2.) added these 2 to /etc/make.conf
INPUT_DEVICES=keyboard mouse
net-pf-10 off
alias ipv6 off
i can nto add these to Gentoo a sit is not installed, not yet. i need
to download Stage3 tarball 1st , So how can i stop IPv6 on Gentoo
*before* installation so that i can download Stage 3 tarball?

OK, scrub that idea, although several people have reported updating
Netgear routers fixed IPv6 problems.
