Looking for a way to install samba-3.0.23b with a very recent patch from samba developers that is supposed to solve a problem I'm having with the SID code in current samba-3.0.23a.
I have compiled the version I'm told I need but it looks like a very complicated thing to try to install and run outside of the emerge method. In fact I suspect it nearly gauranteed to cause problems here. Anyone know if something is available in version 3.0.23b? -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
