Hello list! My company's considering of purchasing a couple of Fusion-IO [1] devices, especially the ioDrive Octal model [2]. However, before we actually commit to purchasing it, I'd like to gather some info first.
Have any of you had any experience with a Fusion-IO product? Not necessarily the same model. Do you have difficulties running Linux on top of it? (We don't actually plan to *boot* from it; most likely the system will boot from a RAID-1 array of SSDs). Did anyone successfully run it with Gentoo? Any inputs will be very appreciated.
