Re: [gentoo-user] mplayer and streaming wma
I have this same problem using mplayer from the command line. The line below does not work. I also have troubles playing video clips that played just fine in my old GBU/Linux OS, (keep freezing early in the clip, must hit 10 sec fast forward to get going again) Creighton > Does doing something like: > > mplayer mms://wm05.nm.cbc.ca/cbcr1-montreal > > Work? > > > -- > [Name ] :: [Matan I. Re: [gentoo-user] mplayer and streaming wma
_media player_ flamefests? Never had one of those before, only vi/emacs, ie/ff, windows/linux and gentoo/other linux. Do tell; with the exception of the lack of the real codecs (for some reason it's masked in portage), mplayer plays most of the video and all of the streaming audio I've thrown at it :).
