Governance of Marine Geoengineering Webinar
In this webinar, Kerryn Brent, University of Tasmania; Wil Burns,
Co-Director of the Institute for Carbon Removal Law & Policy; and Jeffrey
McGee, University of Tasmania will discuss the potential role of marine
climate geoengineering approaches such as ocean alkalinity enhancement and
"blue carbon." Focusing on the governance of marine geoengineering research
and deployment, along with potential risks of this approach, this webinar
come on the heels of CIGI's Special Report on the topic authored by Brent,
Burns, and McGee.

Registration closes at 11:59 pm EDT on March 1st. Details to access the
webinar room will be sent to registered participant shortly before the
webinar is held. All webinars are archived here on the Institute's website
as well as on the Institute's YouTube channel about a week after the
webinar is conducted. An announcement will be posted on the Institute's
Facebook and Twitter when the recording becomes available.
