Re: [Geoserver-devel] [ExternalEmail] Support for referenced 3D Curve encoding

I'd also like to draw to the community's attention the second part: geometries that are referenced to the curve, that is, engineering coordinates that refer to down-hole distance. These are are a one-dimensional geometry defined only in the context of that borehole, and the usual way that bore

[Geoserver-devel] Support for referenced 3D Curve encoding

2010-08-02 Thread v...@csiro
what are the thoughts of the community on support for 3D coordinates? This is an issue raised by a geologist I'm trying to figure out if GeoServer can deliver a series of LineStringSegment coordinates (x,y,z) to represent a complex 3D Curve geometry. Let's imagine for a second that geologists

Re: [Geoserver-devel] Error deploying Nighly Geoserver war build in Tomcat 7

2010-08-02 Thread Justin Deoliveira
Odd... i have not tried out geoserver on tomcat 7 yet... but I wonder if the filter api has changed in any way. Or perhaps there are multiple copies of the servlet api around... something worth more investigation. My bet would be there would be problems with tomcat 6. On 10-07-27 9:09 PM, Debas

Re: [Geoserver-devel] Eclipse configuration to debug extensions?

2010-08-02 Thread Justin Deoliveira
There is documentation about how we integrate community modules and extensions here: http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/developer/policies/community-modules.html it walks through the process of how to update the source tree to get an extension included. That should help. -Justin On 10-07-30
