We were unable to check in on the release scheduled rhis week (no meeting). Please take a look at: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/wiki/Release-Schedule It would be great to have a 2.23.3 maintenance release volunteer this month. I am going to check, but I expect to be in position to rele

It's something that can be discussed, but requires a proposal... (once upon a time FOSS4G was in September, I remember Justin pressing a "release" button directly during "state of geoserver"). I remember that; Nottingham 2013! Although for that one I think it was Jody pressing the button -

Result of meeting: 2.17.0 pushed back until march, an additional 2.15 maintenance release will be made by GeoSolutions (thanks!). Because of summer vacations there does not seem to be capacity to release in August in alignment with FOSS4G. -- Jody Garnett On Tue, 7 Jan 2020 at 09:25, Andrea Aime

Hi, I'm checking the release schedule, it says 2.17.0 for February 18th... that's not right, we always did 17th March and 17th September. Was that just a typo, or are we actually talking about doing it one month earlier? See: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/wiki/Release-Schedule Cheers And

I did not manage to get the release out prior to friday's bug stomp (sorry got stuck on work). With that in mind I would like to start the release train for 2.9.3 today. The bug stomp hit on three security vulnerabilities, should I be releasing a 2.10.1 at this time? -- Jody Garnett --

It appears we have enough fixes in the works to consider another release candidate. There are two things needed to make this happen: 1) A release candidate issued next week (I am still in position to make a release if required) 2) A volunteer needed to issue another release on the Sept. 18th. Giv

So the OpenGeo team has been talking things over, and it looks like we're going to back away from trying to get 2.0 out real soon, instead focus our energy on documentation and demos and what not for foss4g. And after foss4g we won't have guaranteed resources to put in to it, and in light of Ro
