I've reviewed the GeoServer overview and contrary to my previous statement I do *not* seem to have cut and pasted it from the GeoServer web site (unless it has changed in the past years) and in fact I seem to have written it from scratch (with some similarity to my PSU courseware). So I think there is no problem with licencing it as CC-BY.
I have also reviewed the Quickstart which is authored by my self with screen shots from a GPL programmes and public domain data so I see no problem with licencing it as CC-BY-SA. Ian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ Geoserver-devel mailing list Geoserver-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-devel
