Hello All,
Following the welcome improvement in 2.8.0 for the faster loading of Oracle
layer configurations, it seems that this enhancement is not as noticeable in
subsequent versions (e.g. 2.9.x and the current 2.10 build). Does anyone know
why this might be?
The difference in startup times
I've found I needed to install the module which I have done - my next question!
To do a basic test, I have set up a new user called 'test' with a new role
called 'TEST' which my 'test' user is a part of; in my 'Data Security' I have
set one layer to be accessed by the 'TEST' role.

Hi
I would like to explore the authkey module in Geoserver 2.5 to see if it is
something that could be useful for my setup.
After looking at the manual, I cannot seem to find the authkey authentication
filter within my Authentication area, only; J2EE, Anonymouse, Remember Me,

Hi,
Thanks for your answer Nuno. Yes, your notes correlates with my tests. I share
your opinion about how Geofence should work. On DENY mode all layers and Layer

Not sure what happened as I didn't have to do the same process with the
vector layers, so I must have somehow
Hi All,
I've just encountered the same problem as described in the above bug report
(https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-6812), and notice that the fix is
said to be part of the master version of 2.9.x. I've trawled the release notes
and change logs, but can't find any mention of its
Hi Ian,
that should not be the case, the raster feature info identifier is reading
a 20x20 block around the clicked pixel, but at the native
resolution, not the requested one (see the code, it's using the "original
grid to world"):
Hi Ian
I have setup the floating point dataset as an image mosaic, so I would expect
it to use the index and then any internal tiling to make a fast getFeatureInfo
lookup?

Thanks Ian,
I think the issue may actually be that the Tomcat server had not been permitted
to accept PUT requests whilst the others had.
I have updated the configuration files but now the GeoServer will not start.
I'm think this issue is unrelated as I think this is an issue with the
