get capabilities response...this error of course leads to a blank
grid. Any more clues would be much appreciated?

I'm trying to setup geoserver (2.11.1) to cascade a remote WMS. When I
attempt this I get an error:
Connection test failed: Server returned HTTP response code: 401 for URL:
https:///wms?REQUEST=GetCapabilities&SERVICE=WMSetc.
