Hi, testing a upgrade from Geoserver 2.14.0 to Geoserver 2.15.1 with internal geofence I made the following experience:
To show layers in a layer group in the wms capabilities document I had to add a GeoFence Data Rule to allow wms getCapabilities for anonymous users. In 2.14 it was sufficient to set the catalog mode to "challenge". Maybe this will help somebody.
