Possibly you have some other change / upgrade as well?
In particular, please check what version of java and tomcat you are running on the machine. It might also help to say what versions of geoserver and geonode you are (trying to get) running? Also, what is the "/hello-app-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT"? If those look OK, maybe just re-install from last-working backup and compare differences.
