Jody, I was kind of hoping that Andrea's patch "alias.patch" for JDBCDataStore attached to http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2325 would have been committed by now (or at least before Friday). Connections to Oracle do not work without it. I am assuming that this will be applied and committed
