Hi all,

The OSGeo <http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code_2011_Ideas> has
been accepted as a mentoring organization for the 2011 Google Summer of
Code. Last year GeoTools was represented in a successful Google Summer of
Code project to integrate the Neo4j graph database into Geotools and uDig.
This year Neo4j has again offered to mentor uDig and/or Geotools projects to
extend Neo4j Spatial GIS capabilities. A number of ideas have been written
up on the uDig wiki GSoC
ideas<http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/HACK/Summer+of+Code>
 page.

Any students interested in this years Google Summer of Code are welcome to
read the ideas page, and open a discussion on the list. Further information
on how to apply can be found on the OSGeo page at
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Google_Summer_of_Code_2011_Ideas

Regards, Craig
