Not sure about the audio stuff; the Base64 stuff was an optimization
added ages ago to speed up PostGIS performance. I don't know much about
it. I did modify all this code recently to allow for 3D data. But the
Base64 dependency was there before my time.

that import. do we really need audio stuff in the JTS referenced
envelope? It's not used in the file itself so it seems redundant.
