The new jdbc datastore architecture has been code named "NG" for "next
generation". Some of the implementations such as postgis, db2, oracle,
etc... use the "NG" naming convention for the factory name to prevent

I see many jdbc modules like db2, and postgis implements
NGDataStoreFactory, while mysql and sqlserver implements
DataStoreFactory without NG. Just what is NG? Thank you.
