and review the code (and when you are done we can kick it up to supported
status).
Could I ask that you and Mark sort out geogit datastore before you go? I want
to make sure Mark is not stuck...

As you've been implementing ResourceId support for property datastore,
it would be a good time to get the wfs2-v test cases land on geoserver
trunk and adapted to use property datastore?
If you're up to it I'll be glad to point you to the tests.
