Is anyone among the GeoTools developers using the zip file? Anyone with an
interest in maintaining it?
I believe the answer is no to both, GeoTools is supposed to be used from
Maven, or some other build

I last used it in foss4g 2019, 2018 and FOSS4GNA 2019 workshops, any time
the internet is not good enough for maven.
I think maven has taken over as our reference point. With my recent JTS
experience I think I could upload to maven central now (as long as I sign
the jars).
