Java 11 is now the recommended version to run Jenkins on (as of a few
releases ago).
Consequently, I'd like to upgrade our build server accordingly.
Right now, Jenkins is running on OpenJDK 8, with additional Java 8 and Java
11 installations for running specific jobs.
The upgrade should be straight
