Please share the following info with your graduate students (and anyone else who can help to get the word out)? Thanks very much! Tana ************************************** The <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/special-programs/geneva-program/how-apply> Duke Global Policy Program in Geneva is accepting applications to its 2019 internship program until Sunday, December 16th, 2018. Students who apply by the 16th will receive their admission decision by December 20th. See below for details about the program’s various options. The Duke Global Policy Program in Geneva is a summer program designed to equip graduate students with the practical tools and knowledge necessary to be global change agents. Students are invited to apply to either our <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/geneva-program/internships> Internship Program or our <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/geneva-program/course-only-option> Intensive Course Week Program (no internship included). See more details about the program, costs, and application requirements below. By taking part in either program, students apply for one of our three program tracks: <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/geneva-program/environment-energy-economics> Environment, Energy, and the Economy <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/geneva-program/global-health> Global Health <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/geneva-program/humanitarian-action> Humanitarian Crises, Refugees, and Human Rights Students in both the Internship Program and the Intensive Course Week Program will learn how international and non-governmental organizations in Geneva are working to address today’s most pressing global challenges. The Intensive Course Week, required for all students, includes meetings with approximately 20 practitioners, site visits to Geneva-based IGOs and NGOs, networking events, professional coaching, group case simulations, and a culminating policy memo assignment. It’s a rigorous week that shapes students’ professional and personal ambitions, and earns participants 3.0 academic credits from Duke University. Students wishing to only participate in the Intensive Course Week should follow the directions on the <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/geneva-program/course-only-option> following page. Students have the option to add an internship component to the program, through participation in our <http://sanford.duke.edu/academics/special-programs/geneva-program/how-apply> internship program. As part of the internship program, selected students will receive support from the program for securing a summer internship in Geneva.
