Am a new user here am after a little help.
I realize the program is quite complicated to use, but basically I'm
trying to download a couple of TV programs.
When I try to however, I get the result :-
INFO: MP4 tagging MP4 file
APar_readX read failed, expect 12 got 0: end of
I'm running Win 7 Starter on an Acer 532h - with all MS updates. I'm using the
latest WebPVR. And I'm trying to set up a PVR to replace Radio Downloader.
However the Perl keeps crashing at the same point - LINE 307.
The last time it happened was when I had edited the entry Dad's Army: Series
1

I wanted to record a couple of episodes of imagine - hadn't used
get_iplayer since the olympics and found that it threw up a lot of
errors. I tried to update the .pl file from 2.82 to 2.83 and that just
told me that it didn't recognise the parameters such as mode and
verbose etc. I then tried
My brother has the raw option set as default in the prefs, as his PC
is too slow to handle doing the conversion of video.
However, this causes radio programmes to be left as flv as well and
he'd like to have those auto-converted to mp3. Is there a way
(preferably using the Web PVR Manager but
as his PC

get_iplayer doesn't convert video.
It only repackages the flv file into an mp4 container.

I can confirm that one, but in my case (under Vista Business on a Lenovo
laptop) RTMPDump crashed immediately and brought up a Windows error

Many thanks for the heads up.
Yes I managed to get a fresh install and after a couple of rtmpdump
crashes it started downloading but on HD it seemed to have stopped and
timed out.
At least I've got something working. :)

working with current release

downloads but I found a different version here

that did work fine. Once I got that loaded I had a few rtmpdump

Yes perhaps if that's the case I think my laptop was struck with a
gremlin or two. As I mentioned it was some kind of access denied error
which had me stumped. Thankfully it sorted itself out.
