The problem is caused by bad metadata which is what get_iplayer uses to get the
info it needs to download a programme. There seem to be a number of programmes
from over the last while that have

I just noticed no radio had downloaded on the pvr since 23rd Feb (TV was
working fine so I hadn't noticed earlier), just upgraded to 2.91 and
ran the pvr again and got 6 downloads come through. Don't think I've
missed anything fortunately.
