The enhancements made to the Free Select tool in version 2.6 are quite
phenomenal. The implementation is powerful yet intuitive and I
congratulate those involved in its development (from the Changelog I
am led to believe that Martin Nordholts handled the brunt of the
coding effort).

Any idea if and when the new brush options will be accessible by
scripts using the PDB?
Specifically, I am looking for set/get of the brush scaling and jitter
options that would be respected when using gimp-paintbrush-default or
gimp-edit-stroke or any of the other stroke commands
