Hi, we have had bug-reports about crashes with the MPEG plug-in as shipped with 1.2. The plug-in author and others agreed that the plug-in is a dirty hack. Since the quality of the plug-in does not match our standards and noone is willing to fix it, we are considering to remove this plug-in from the distribution. If you have serious problems with this decision, stand up now.
