Ok, you're right, but why everything worked fine till gimp 1.1.24 (the last RPM
I've built through the "standard" gimp.spec)?
I don't think that dropping the RPM support or a clean and easy way for RPMming
the GIMP is a good choice (none would use the "prefix" for a normal
installation except the ones who would build a binary rpm). ;)
Happy GIMPing,

See the top level page, http://bugs.gnome.org. Re: "All controls on manual"
Seems to be some kind of capacity/infrastructure problem. First noticed the
posting around July.

it's not a very explanatory explanation, but, perhaps the best they can offer.

ANNOUNCE: gimp-print 4.0b2

2000-10-04 Thread Robert L Krawitz

This is the second (and hopefully last) beta release of gimp-print
4.0. It is not the final 4.0 release, but it is very close. We
anticipate that the final 4.0 will happen in a few weeks, after more
testing and any necessary bug fixes. In addition, we expect support
for the Epson Stylus Color 777 and Stylus Pro 7500 to be present in
the final release. That will bring the number of supported printer
models to 90.

Gimp-Print 4.0b2 is primarily a bug fix release. Please read the
release notes carefully, as usual. The release notes are rather long,
and are not included in this announcement. However, most of the
changes are relatively minor.
