You can do this to get the first drawable:
$drawable = ($image->get_layers)[0];
> $drawable=$img->Drawable();

And then you could write that like (your original call duplicates
arguments!) this:
($img->get_layers)[0]->file_tiff_save($image2,$image2,0,1);

in your case a drawable is a layer. an image can have many layers and
