I installed Yosemite yesterday. I updated Gimp to the latest git build and
it works fine with Yosemite.
This is not surprising to me since my builds are backward compatible up to
Snow Leopard (10.6.8).

I've built on 10.9. and had to find out that
even building for 10.8 has become troublesome
(mostly due to issues with the JHBuild bootstrapper
on OS X, but I think also the older OS X SDKs are
involved here).
