I looked at DSC00434_1600.png and it smells like a tiling subsystem bug to

Hi,
Just wondering how the GIMP development team is getting along with the
following projects:
1. implementation of the combined selection tool (GSoC 2012)
2. implementation of the n-point image deformation tool (GSoC 2013)
It's been a while since anything was heard about these projects and
Alex,
i cant recall if an earlier Gimp had already the magnetic properties in the
Preferences. So, this feature needs yet to be implemented as i understand…

In usability, the word intuitive is verboten :)
Skandal!
Besides, both airbrush and eraser tools also have tool-specific options.
What are you going to do about it?
i know something about coding, but only in Applescript. Often, its a good
practice to merge code pieces to clean, debug,

i understand your direct answer.

I'd love to contribute to the Gimp project, but i've no idea how to code in

There was another option in my answer :)
I dont know if Gimp should care about brushes in krita and mypaint
1. Eraser should keep the quite useful tool-specific Un-erase option.
2. I have no idea what you meant with use as default only black or
white, or, rather, what defaults have to do with anything here. Do
you think you could elaborate on that?
2. sorry if i forgot to write opaque and transparent

Quick correction: The n-point deformation hasn't been merged yet.
It's close, but the gegl api still needs some review and potentially
some cleanup before merge.

I can reproduce this problem. I'm going to guess that the issue is
that the nohalo code is interacting badly with the sampler caching
code in gegl, which has been rewritten since the nohalo code was
originally written. Someone should probably look into that.

Well, I did say that the Airbrush has tool-specific options, namely,
rate and flow. Personally, I can't see how you can merge those.
So 3 out of 5 tools (Airbrush,
