Notice that gnome-based desktops don't show icons in menus anymore (at
least in the default form), so that isn't always true.
But it's a good point anyway, probably against the inclusion of icons in
menus.

In my opinion the problem isn't the save vs. export function. Is the
overwrite function. Probably it only needs to be a permanent option and
a default shortcut and that's it.

Personally I think your work (and your team's) has proven the importance
of having UI experts among our devs and I'll be happy to see you leading
this new process, and I expect to see great things coming from it.

cpus incorrectly. I'm using a Quad Core and it defaulted to 8 threads
and it also made some things slower.
2.8 worked fine though, it's set to 4 threads and I can't notice any
slowness because of that.
