New heal looks better to me. It doesnt blur so much. I dont know why
it was changed. It's probably better somhow. You can argue on
bugtracker if you want to, but there is nothing I can do about this.

There was a bug in the heal tool that could cause what you describe
that had a fix committed yesterday. you probably can get away with
grabbing the latest heal c file from git and building again.
