[Gimp-developer] gimp 2.9 build on linux, now jpeg, tiff, etc are unknown file types

I've been using gimp 2.9.2 and 2.9.3, building from a git clone without issues, using a subdirectory of my home for the install location. I've now moved the install location to /usr/local, and the autogen, make and make install steps complete without errors. Note: I now use sudo make instal
