It seems that it's assigned "C" in the combination alt-i-c, which used to be "crop to selection". Trips me up every time now. I recommend assigning it a different value than "c", since most people I think would probably use cropping much more often than the color management dialogue. My 2p. -C

I could not successfully get gegl to build from source. I spent ages trying. Luckily someone updated the edge ppa and it now installs fine: http://www.webupd8.org/2013/10/gimp-29-210-development-builds.html I then had to run: sudo apt-get build-dep gegl then sudo apt-get install gegl and now

It's definitely faster, and more convenient. I also like the fact that ctrl+shift+clicking a masked layer removes the mask. It makes a pain-free toggle, I can see myself using it a lot. The only thing I would add is that if there is a selection on the canvas, that the mask be made from that
