[Gimp-developer] Mac native version of GIMP

Hi all, Are there plans for porting GIMP to Mac OS X using Aqua and not X11? I'm interested in learning how to code user interfaces and in helping the free software community (since it has developed so many useful software that I use daily). I've used GIMP for Linux and Windows but not for Mac.
