GDrawble -> pixmap, for plugin GUI purposes?

I'm working on a plugin for which I'm developing a GUI which needs to display the image in question. The GUI is being written in GTK. Is there an easy way, or some existing code (plugin) that exports a GDrawable to a some type of GdkDrawable? cc: me, your replies you'd be so kind. Thanks from

'Simple' way to export image as a GdkRGB to plugin?

Hi, I'm looking for a simple way to export a Gimp image as a GdkRGB to a plugin. Any good solutions? The ImageMap plugin seems to have a nice interface along the lines of what I want to do, but it seems like it takes an awful lot to get the data from the Gimp to the preview widget. I'm still ne
