SA_NODEFER is a SVR4-ism, SA_NOMASK is as linux-ism, and neither of them are desirable. As far as I understand it, this asked that while the signal handling function runs, the signal being processed is not blocked. This is really quite dangerous behaviour, since the signal handler must now be made reentrant. I don't understand why we're going to quite a lot of trouble to enable a "feature" we really don't want in the first place! Austin
