Perhaps a similar message to Human Touch, Inc. is appropriate.  They
neither distribute the source or even mention that GPL code is used.

Of course, it's for plugins and the plugin authors would need to be
involved - which for those plugins are Spencer, Peter,  co.

Actually, they don't have to distribute the source - check part 3.b)
of the current GPL found on www.gnu.org, extracted below:

| 3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work based on it,
|under Section 2) in object code or executable form under the terms of
|Sections 1 and 2 above provided that you also do one of the following:
|
|a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable
|source code, which must be distributed under the terms of Sections

|b) Accompany it with a written offer, valid for at least three
|years, to give any third party, for a charge no more than your

However, if they have not complied with 3.b) or 3.c) then they are
certainly in trouble. Frankly, the first sentence of 3.c) is poorly
written - but my guess is that it means that they can just tell
you to check ftp.gimp.org if you want source.

If they are really in violation of the GPL, keep up the fight!

I am aware of the alternative to make a written offer.  I didn't tell
them about that option because I would MUCH prefer that they
distribute the source.  They can read the license for themselves if
they want to find out about the other option.

3c specifically says noncommercial, which I believe rules these guys out -
I believe they have to go by 3a or 3b.
